    What we’re building:

     

    The Information Services Division is a global organization providing technology-enabled business solutions and support. As an Information Security Analyst II you will be part of the first line of cyber defense, working with I.S. and business partners to help them understand and mange information security risks and comply with the organizational information security policies. You will support the delivery of analysis-based cyber security services to our internal client across a GLOBAL enterprise including threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments.

     

    What you’ll do:

    • Manage technical research of evolving security threats and vulnerabilities
    • Collect, evaluate and assess the risk of identified security threats; recommends appropriate action
    • Execute detailed threat risk assessments
    • Provide security consulting to IS and Business partners
    • Lead the technical validation and analysis of security best practice against existing standards
    • Interpret and align business/I.S. requests to the appropriate I.S. security standard
    • Conduct research, develops/recommends, and implements new/changed I.S. security standards
    • Prime the collaboration of I.S. technical subject matter experts to ensure appropriate technical requirements are built into all I.S. security standards
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments
    • Analyze all security related reports and data to identify threat and vulnerability patterns and provides risk mitigation strategies to the GISO
    • Spearhead the identification of security related infrastructure data to be used for input to the security management reporting

     

    Who you are:

    • Completion of a Bachelor degree from a university or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Information Technology professional with at least two of those in Information Security or a related field
    • Advanced knowledge of security technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls)
    • Completed, working towards or willing to attain Information Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
    • Excellent communicator including demonstrated presentation and negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and build trust
    • Have strong analytical ability
    • Experience in risk assessment methodologies
    • Experience with controls-based management of risk, including knowledge of one or more control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO27001)
