  • Job Description

    The Digital Services Production Specialist is responsible for executing email campaigns for all business partners across Great-West Life insurance. This includes end-to-end email campaign and program management such as production, deployment, tracking, link building and more. This position will support a fast-paced team focused on driving customer engagement through email newsletters, trigger communications, lifecycle marketing, as well as promotional and event campaigns. This position ensures that all email initiatives are executed on time and in accordance with business goals.

    The  Digital Services Production Specialist will work closely with the Digital Marketing Team, Graphic Designers, Data Specialists, Developers, and Business Partners to positively affect customer engagement, satisfaction and retention. The goal is to create a compelling, relevant and consistent user experience that carries through their entire lifecycle.

    Accountabilities:

    • Work closely with Digital Marketing Team to develop email marketing work back schedule and email campaign timelines
    • Create and enforce project documents/schedules as needed, ensuring deadlines and launch dates are met
    • Track progress on project deliverables and proactively flag delays or potential risks
    • Project manage email requests to ensure emails are developed on time and are approved by our business partners in a timely manner before deployment.
    • Leads A/B tests in subject lines, creative and copy tests to improve open-rates, click-through rates and conversion
    • Oversee daily email operations, Coordinate email production and QA processes to ensure emails are accurate and deployed on time
    • Pull accurate lists, partnering with the Data Specialist on segmentation and testing, to deploy emails that meet the business goals and email best practices
    • Monitor and address email deliverability issues
    • Keep up to current best practices to improve all email communications and deliverability
    • Manage the creative updates for emails and landing pages to ensure it meets the requirements laid out by our business partners
    • Liaise with and act as lead email business contact with internal and external stakeholders
    • Assist in balancing the dual expectations of the business and the digital marketing team and proactively resolves issues across current email marketing projects.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
    • Demonstrates high level of quality work
    • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and CASL

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Have a degree in Marketing, Technology or Business Management
    • 2-3 years work experience, preferred
    • Must be extremely well organized and be a strong problem solver
    • Self-motivated
    • Experience meeting multiple deadlines
    • Experience with Adobe Campaign preferred
    • Proficient in JIRA
