    We’re looking for a Manager, Business Development Programs to lead a team accountable for providing educational development programs for financial security advisors for Advisory Network. Given your experience and business acumen, you’re able to develop and execute relevant and engaging programs and services that provide high actionable value to the advisors and the organization. With proven strategic, analytical, research and project management capabilities, accompanied with strong relationship skills, you’ll be well positioned to initiate and execute the multiple priorities in this fast-paced environment. 

     

    Accountabilities:

    • Planning and managing innovative and leading advisor programs and services from inception to implementation including on-going evaluation of effectiveness
    • Initiating, developing, supporting, executing and managing all advisor programs including educational forums and seminars.
    • Investigating internal and external subject matter experts, in addition to senior executives, provide compelling and knowledgeable presenters to support the goals of each program.
    • Partnering with conference planning and marketing communications business partners to execute successful educational programs
    • Generating and executing new ideas and value offerings for advisors and our organization by identifying emerging trends and reacting to advisor feedback
    • Assuring the Company’s  brand and offerings are accurately supported and communicated at all levels, including implementing marketing tactics including calendars, communications, and other printed and digital deliverables

      

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • 7+ years of experience in financial services and/or corporate environment providing high quality educational conferences and development programs.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, strong communication and listening skills, ability to inspire, coach and provide vision to team members.
    • Education acquired through a specialized university degree (e.g. business degree, MBA).
    • Strong collaboration and critical problem solving skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to work with operators to influence change; ability to develop broader strategies as well as more tactical solutions
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively to identify and support initiatives that substantially and measurably improve the customer and advisor experience
    • Strong track record and capability to prioritize focus and balance multiple priorities at all times.  Can assess situations, make decisions, and get things done, with a high degree of agility through partnering with others and own team.
    • Some travel is required for this role.
