     An exciting 12 month contract with the opportunity to be hired on a full time basis.  A permanent role is based on satisfactory performance including productivity and adhering to Great Life’s values.

    The Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and entering health and dental benefit claim forms and receipts that have been submitted by our plan members.     Great-West Life offers a competitive salary and bonus program that rewards your performance in achieving individual quality and productivity objectives.  As well, an employee recognition program rewards; ex: exceptional service.  In addition to salary, quarterly bonuses and the employee recognition program, you will start with our standard benefits package.  After 1 year on the job, you’ll qualify for a comprehensive benefit package, with options to personalize the benefits package to meet the needs of you and your family. 

     

    Most claims processors work Monday through Friday, with flexible start times ranging from 7:00 am – 8:00 am.  You will not be expected to work late evenings or weekends and the company observes all statutory holidays.  Optional overtime may be available at various times throughout the year.

     Qualifications & Competencies 

    • Excellent keyboarding skills
    • Good reading comprehension
    • Good English language skills
    • Basic PC computer & Microsoft Office skills
    • A minimum of 1 year of cumulative work experience
    • A high school diploma
    • Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
    • Successful candidates will be required to participate in the Federal Government Enhanced Screening process
    • Bilingual (French) skills would be considered an asset
