The Manager is primarily responsible for managing the Tax Reporting function for The Great-West Life Assurance Company (“GWL”) and its Canadian subsidiaries. The Manager Taxation is responsible for the review and analysis of quarterly and year-end tax provisions under IFRS basis as well as the related Canadian tax compliance matters. The Manager, Taxation, is responsible for coaching and training staff members in respect of the same. The Manager may assist in investigating, researching and analyzing tax issues for the purpose of tax accounting, tax audits, special transactions and/or tax planning.
