    We’re looking for a bright and energetic Digital Content Editor to work on material across our websites. You’ll join the Digital Content team, which combines creativity, collaboration, innovation, excellence and a fun work environment to improve the experience for our customers.


    As a sharp writer/editor, you can spot bad leads and heavy copy. You can easily tighten a paragraph and write a snappy headline that works for both SEO and marketing purposes alike.

    Based in London or Toronto, the successful candidate must have experience in editing, creating and curating content, with a strong focus on writing for the digital platforms.


    • Write copy using plain language and help distill complex financial/technical content and jargon into user-friendly content
    • Create digital copy that’s aligned with the overall digital content strategy to drive desired outcomes/conversions
    • Help position the company as a thought leader in a diverse range of verticals by producing content that engages various stakeholders
    • Strong understanding of SEO strategy and principles
    • Work with various marketing and communications teams and several other internal stakeholders to establish priorities and secure approvals
    • Collaborate with UX architects, designers, animators, strategists and researchers
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance guidelines for website content
    • Work closely with front end developers to maintain site standards with regards to content
    • Review digital analytics to measure success
    • Publish content using a CMS - AEM experience is an asset

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Post-secondary degree in communications, journalism or media and information
    • Excellent marketing writing skills with an emphasis on digital writing
    • Experience writing content marketing and advertorial copy for varied stakeholders
    • At least 5-7 years of relevant online content editing and copy-writing experience
    • Self-motivated, organized and able to multitask and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines
    • Ability to facilitate working group meetings with stakeholders to understand key messages and content and translate those into compelling online copy
    • Experience working with content management systems, including analytics tools
    • Keen ability to think visually and apply graphic design elements to storytelling
