    Are you looking to join an evolving and dynamic organization? Do you believe in building and nurturing customer and advisor relationships? As part of the Core Marketing team, the Associate Manager will market, and support Insurance and Wealth Solutions product, distribution and service initiatives, enhancements, and updates. You will ensure existing products, tools and marketing support are current and compliant as well as identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You are an advocate for our customers, championing customer needs through the value added lens of our distribution channels, improving retention and loyalty, and increasing customer lifetime value.

     

    Accountabilities

    • Initiate and/or coordinate market, competitive, advisor and customer research
    • Understand conscious and unconscious needs of target segments
    • Working with Customer Experience and Insights to interpret and apply customer data and insights
    • Prepare and approve marketing and project briefs
    • Ensure marketing and communications deliverables align with the marketing strategy
    • Lead medium/small marketing initiatives to launch
    • Lead marketing initiative retrospectives, evaluate results and apply learnings
    • Share and influence product and distribution design
    • Apply brand promise to marketing development

    Qualifications and Competencies

    Items include:

    • A university degree potentially supplemented by training in financial services products, marketing and strategic business processes
    • Minimum five years of experience in the financial industry (an asset but not mandatory)
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in leading or managing small to medium sized projects
    • Proven problem solving and decision making skills, proven ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
    • Strong facilitation skills
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
    • Analytical skill and attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
    • Proven ability to learn quickly
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Shows initiative
    • Team player
    • Change adaptive
