    We’re looking for a Director of Practice Development with business savvy and charismatic gusto to play an integral role with the Freedom 55 Financial team. You’ll expand the number of advisors in your region as you build your network and recruit quality sales candidates into a financial security advisor role within Freedom 55 Financial. In this fast-paced, results-driven environment, it’s go time for you as you partner with some of the top financial advisors in the business to deliver leading edge practice development, advanced sales strategies and contribute to the overall success and development of experienced advisors. You will help some of the best financial advisors take their business to the next level.

    To start:

    • You have two plus years as a financial advisor. But you’re not content to carry the bag anymore. And you’re not satisfied with good — you insist on leading the way. As lead support and relationship manager, you’ll join a team that commands industry respect, defines success by growth and is generously rewarded with compensation and benefits.
    • You’re an authority on investments and insurance products, advanced sales strategies and the financial services market. You understand regulatory requirements of the financial services industry.
    • With your credibility and expertise as a financial advisor, you’re ready to lead and coach. You will dedicate each day in helping others succeed by showing them how to take their business from good to great.

    Your day runs the gamut from consulting with advisors on their business and marketing plan to bringing forth some new sales strategies and practice development insights. You coach and partner with experienced advisors to help them implement new strategies, products and concepts into their business. You thrive because you get personal satisfaction that comes from helping others succeed. You have a high attraction power and source high potential entrepreneurs to join the Freedom 55 Financial team.     Desired skills and experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services industry preferably as a financial advisor
    • Specialist in practice development as it relates to the financial services area
    • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
    • Experience recruiting quality sales candidates would be an asset
    • Knowledge of insurance and investment products, advanced sales strategies, the financial services industry and applicable legislation.
    • Basic understanding of tax implications related to investments and insurance
    • Passionate about the financial services industry and helping others succeed within it
    • Hold valid financial services designations, such as CFP, CLU, etc.
    • Acquire and maintain mutual fund branch manager license within first year
    • Maintain life, accident and sickness license and mutual fund registration, and commit tcontinuing education in financial services, leadership and management development.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • As an employee in Quebec, you’re required to maintain an Insurance of Persons license
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English and French

    This role is located in Laval, travel throughout the region using your own means of transportation will be required.
