    We’re looking for a Director, advisor experience to play an integral role with the Freedom 55 Financial team.  In this fast-paced, results-driven environment, it’s go time for you as you partner with the top financial advisors to deliver leading edge practice development strategies for business planning to help drive advisor business performance. You’ll expand the number of advisors in your region as you build your network and recruit quality sales candidates into a financial security advisor role within Freedom 55 Financial. Our top of the line product shelf, processes and tools will provide you with what you need to help your new advisors be some of the best in the business.

    To start:

    • You have at least two years’ experience as a financial advisor. But you’re not content to carry the bag anymore. And you’re not satisfied with good — you insist on leading the way. As lead consultant and relationship manager, you’ll join a team that commands industry respect, defines success by growth and is generously rewarded with compensation and benefits.
    • You’re an authority on investments and insurance products, advanced sales strategies and you know how to support advisors with taking their business from good to great. 
    • With your credibility and expertise, you’re ready to lead, inspire and set the agenda. You’ve got a high attraction power and are a natural coach.

    Your day runs the gamut from sourcing potential advisors from your network to partnering with top advisors on their business growth. You consult with advisors to help them identify opportunities to grow their business and create a marketing plan to match it.     Desired skills and experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services industry
    • Experienced team leader and coach with a track record of developing and leading high performance sales teams
    • Experience recruiting quality sales candidates would be an asset
    • Excellent knowledge of insurance and investment products, advanced sales strategies, the financial services industry and applicable legislation.
    • Good understanding of tax implications related to investments and insurance
    • Hold or working towards valid financial services designations, such as CFP, CLU, etc.
    • Acquire and maintain mutual fund branch manager license within first year
    • Maintain life, accident and sickness license and mutual fund registration, and commit to continuing education in financial services, leadership and management development.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    This role is located in The Greater Toronto region; travel throughout the region using your own means of transportation will be required.
