The Manager of Application Support is accountable for maintenance, support, and availability of on premise systems and, 3rd party operated systems supporting the Business Unit. This role also serves as the main point of contact and coordination for application maintenance delegated to centralized application support. Application support responsibilities include break/fix, upgrades, patches, support optimization, continuous improvement, maintaining 3rd party operated application relationships and, 2nd level support.
The role collaborates with the aligned project delivery teams deploying/standing up applications and, transitioning into production. As well, it may provide Centre of Expertise for select shared common applications and platforms as delegated.
The Manager of Application Support will help define agreed service levels and has a mandate to ensure they are met and continuously improved. This role interacts directly with business and/or IS units to resolve issues or escalated concerns.
